Rates:  Our log home is available for a minimum of
minimum of 2 nights during shoulder and low seasons and 5 nights during peak season. The standard rental rates for two people with no pets are listed below (please note the per-stay departure light cleaning fee).

Departure light cleaning fee of $95 per stay.
A portion of the departure cleaning fee may be refunded if little or no cleaning is required.
The departure light cleaning fee is included in stays of 7 days or or longer.

The rental fees includes utilities, cable TV, DSL, and local phone calls.
There is an additional charge for approved pets and for additional people.
Rental fees are exclusive of local and state taxes (10%).

 

Special rates extended to 50+ seniors and locals within 150 miles.

 Rental Policies

This is an owner-direct rental and the owner's second home. The owner is looking for guests who will appreciate the special personal care, customization, and decor not generally available in standard rental properties.

Some policies are flexible and negotiable, such as check-in/checkout times and the potential for dog guests (see below).

When the owner is not at the property, a caretaker is available to provide a preview of the home.

It is refunded in full (less any costs to restore the home to the condition it was in upon guest's arrival except normal wear and tear and light cleaning) within seven days following inspection after the guest leaves.

axes are deducted from the security deposit, unless otherwise prepaid.

  • Reservations for dates 30 days or more in the future are held seven days pending receipt of a deposit of at least 50%.
  • Balance due 30 days prior to your arrival.
  • No refunds will be made for cancellations unless the property can be re-rented for reservation dates.
  • Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. or later (to be arranged before arrival)
  • Check-out time is noon
  • Early arrivals must be arranged in advance.
  • Smoking allowed outside only.
  • There is no maid or meal service provided.
  • Guests are expected to keep and leave the home clean and orderly (as they found it), with dirty linens together in laundry and/or bath areas;  otherwise, extra fees may apply.
  • Guests are expected to follow house, kitchen, and fireplace customs (described in sheets at the home).
  • A well-mannered dog (certain breeds) with references may be welcome in "green" seasons for an additional cost.
